February 1, 2004: FRS.NeXT version 6.20 includes new XML link for the FRS PASST™

Version 6.20 of FRS has now been fully released to the FRS community. The system's new FRS.NeXT platform has allowed for the addition of even more robust features to the background check industry's most widely used technology solution. One of the key enhancements included in this version is the FRS PASST™.

PASST™ is an acronym for our "Previous Address Social Security Tracker". This powerful tool quickly searches a database of over 20 Billion records for previous addresses and other identifying information about an applicant. The search is processed automatically through the FRS Automation Server and the report is retrieved instantaneously through an XML interface without any user intervention. Each applicant's previous address report is populated back into FRS ready to view, report to the client or process in a variety of ways.

The FRS PASST is a fully integrated tool that is loaded with value-added features to improve and streamline your operations by providing time and labor savings. One of the most powerful of these features is the "Automatic Criminal Ordering" option. This is available through the integration of our "Intelli-Trace Technology" which will intelligently read through the PASST report and perform several automated processes such as automatically ordering criminal background checks for the counties in which an applicant has lived.

Version 6.20 also includes the introduction of the FRS Adjudication Module. This add-on feature to the FRS system allows you to report "Hire" and "Don't Hire" decisions to your clients who require this method of results reporting. The features of this FRS module include settings to define standard "reasons" for discrepancies found when performing background checks on applicants. These "reasons" can be posted directly into each applicant's record from a drop-down list when the background check warrants a "Don't Hire" recommendation for reporting back to the client.

These are just two of the many enhancements included in this release of the Flexible Research System.
