FRS 2014 Annual User Conference Highlights "Partners in Excellence"

FRS announced today the successful conclusion of its “Partners in Excellence” 2014 Annual User Conference. Winston Churchill was once quoted as saying: “If we are together, nothing is impossible. If we are divided, all will fail.” Given the resounding accomplishment of FRS partnering together with our valued clients to achieve new levels of success previously unattained, the theme of this year’s conference was perfectly well-suited.

Back by popular demand, the event took place November 9th and 10th at the Renaissance South Park Hotel in Charlotte, NC, which was also the venue for last year’s conference. The event began on Sunday evening with a Welcome Reception. Entertainment was provided by amazing hypnotist and mind reader, Joshua Seth. 

The keynote speaker this year was extremely dynamic and his subject could not have been more compelling or timely. George B. Thomas, prominent Marketing expert, spoke about how to get more visits, leads and customers via “Inbound Marketing.” Since the background screening industry is so highly competitive, George definitely held everyone’s attention by addressing a conundrum faced by most companies in the room: When traditional “Outbound Marketing” methodologies aren’t yielding the desired results, what do you do?

We were also delighted to have our newest business partner, SkillSurvey, lead one of the breakout sessions to present their flagship solution. Additional breakout sessions included the following topics: AMC 3.0, Operational Efficiencies, Wholesaler Brainstorm Session, and the ever-popular “Ask the Experts.” A Tenant Screening Update and FRS Plans for 2015 were the subjects of general sessions conducted shortly before we dismissed.

At the conclusion of the conference, we announced a winner of the “Partners in Excellence” short story contest. We had asked contestants to share their best stories of how they partnered with FRS in 2014 and what it meant to their companies and their clients. After reading all of the great submissions, a decision was rendered by FRS staff and a winner was declared. Congratulations again to Andrew Fitzgerald of SecuriCheck who won a 4 day, 3 night stay at beautiful Shell Island Resort in Wrightsville Beach, NC! Andrew wrote a great story telling how FRS helped his company find a major gambling civil case in Las Vegas for a CFO running a company that his client was looking to acquire. Needless to say, they chose to look elsewhere thanks to SecuriCheck’s due diligence.
