FRS is very excited to welcome Mark Martens to our organization as the Vice President of Technology and Operations.  Mark is a visionary IT and operations leader leveraging extensive experience developing and managing technology and security solutions.  He brings comprehensive experience in the creation and deployment of solutions for both federal and commercial clients.  These have included DHS, TSA, DoD, and Intelligence clients.  The solutions have included digital rights management software, forensic DNA chain of custody tools, and fingerprint matching software in use at all US International airports.  Throughout his career, Mark has been responsible for maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of highly sensitive systems and information.  These have included PII, Criminal, HIPAA, Nuclear information, Classified Information, and PCI data.  His wealth of software, infrastructure and security experience combined with his wide-ranging operations background add a new level of compliance, structure, and availability to the FRS suite of solutions.

Mark's proven track record spans more than 25 years in software development, data security and IT management.  He brings a demonstrated knowledge of strategic planning in the areas of technology design, development, implementation and data security operations.  Mark also brings an excellent background working with organizations relevant to the security industry where FRS operates. In Mark's most recent position as a Director of Cybersecurity, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Babcock & Wilcox, his primary responsibilities were to provide strategic and tactical direction to effectively identify, manage, and remediate security and infrastructure risks. Prior to that assignment, he spent 7 years with Unisys where he directed a highly effective 24 x 7 Operations Center supporting a large number of clients ranging from banking, to civil government, to federal contractors and agencies.  Mark's background reflects broad experience managing complex technology projects in a management consulting environment where he led global, cross-functional teams.  Mark earned his MBA from Liberty University.

“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to bring Mark's tremendous experience and skills to our team,” stated Phil Chapman, President. “His strengths in application development and data security operations fit perfectly in this position of leading our team.  With his great personality, Mark has quickly fit in very well with our team and he will be a huge asset for our valued clients.  We are excited about what the future holds for our company with Mark leading our operations.”
